Digital Portfolio

My name is Kamilah Abdul-Alim. I started on my path into education and teaching more than 20 years ago as a first and second grade teacher in Rochester, New York public schools. That then lead to several years teaching first through third grade in Seattle Public Schools and most recently to High Tech Elementary Explorer. Over the past twenty years, I have learned so much from colleagues and even more from the students I serve. The most powerful way I can cultivate and maintain equitable practices is to truly see and know each and every student. This portfolio is a glimpse into my journey and a culmination of the work I have completed.
